Micohex Shampoo (Chlorhexidine Gluconate/Miconazole Nitrate) is a pet shampoo with medicinal benefits to help soothe skin problems. It is a broad spectrum medication which may be used by cats or dog, as well as horses, to treat ring worm malassezia and seborrhoeic dermatitis plus other more general conditions that are bacterial, fungi, mould or yeast based.
Use Micohex Shampoo (Chlorhexidine Gluconate/Miconazole Nitrate) only according to instructions printed on the packaging, or as directed by your vet. Do not over use this shampoo as doing so may cause further irritation and discomfort for your pet, as well as worsening the condition itself. Thoroughly wet your pet with warm water before applying some shampoo. Rub the shampoo into your pet`s fur and massage to help the medicine get deep into the skin.
Allow the medicinal shampoo to sit and absorb into your pet`s skin for 10 minutes before rinsing off. Repeat as necessary. Remember to cover areas such as under the tail, between the toes and around the mouth as these are typically problematic areas for germs.
There have been no reports of side effects for animals that Micohex Shampoo (Chlorhexidine Gluconate/Miconazole Nitrate) has been used to treat, and it is free from dyes and perfumes. If, however, you do notice what may be a side effects, speak to your vet promptly.
