Dolocip-DT

Dolocip-DT (Piroxicam) has seen widespread use in the treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondlyitis symptoms. The active ingredient contained in this medicine is an NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug). The mechanism of action in which this medicine achieves its anti-inflammatory and pain relieving activity is widely understood as being related to the blocking of cyclo-oxygenase (COX), so as to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis. Adults treating osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis or pain caused by other conditions may be ordered by their physician to take 20mg per day. Patients who treat any of the various forms of arthritis, or any other medical disorders with Dolocip-DT (Piroxicam) might suffer from some side effects. You should consult your physician if this happens. Possible examples include:

• Vertigo
• Itchy skin
• Bloated feeling
• Diarrhea or constipation
• Buzzing sound in the ears

Avoid drinking alcoholic beverages during treatment with Dolocip-DT (Piroxicam). Also, remember that NSAIDs can cause serious stomach bleeding. Get medical help immediately if this happens.

Stay out of the sun whenever possible. This medicine can make the skin more sensitive to sunlight, which could increase the risk of sunburn.
