Ketorol

Ketorol (Ketorolac) is indicated for pain relief, especially post operative pain. Its mechanism of action is said to be blocking substances that produce a painful and inflammatory response. This medicine is classified as an NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug), and it belongs to the pyrrolo-pyrrole group of NSAIDs. It functions as an analgesic, however, it does not have any anxiolytic (anxiety reducing drug) or sedative effects.

Ketorol (Ketorolac) comes in 10mg strength tablets which are taken by mouth. Your physician will decide upon the correct and most suitable dosage regimen. Individual factors may need to be taken into consideration by the physician in charge of providing medical treatment. Adults treating pain might be directed by their physician to take 10mg (one tablet) 4 times per day. However, some patients might be instructed to take a lower dosage than this.
