Ocepred

Ocepred Eye Drops (Prednisolone/Ofloxacin) is an antibiotic used to treat a variety of eye infections, including keratitis, pink eye, conjunctivitis, blepharitis, corneal ulcers, stye, uveitis, and iritis. It may also be used by patients after having had eye surgery in order to prevent infection. It has been proven to reduce inflammation, pain, and loss of vision.

Always administer Ocepred Eye Drop (Prednisolone/Ofloxacin) as you have been advised by your doctor. Incorrect administration may cause unwanted adverse effects. Applying the eye drops is fairly simple. The following information is provided merely as a general idea. First, tilt back your head and pull your eyelid down. Next, aim the dropper above your head using your spare hand, and squeeze out the necessary number of drops.

Immediately close the eyelid and keep it closed for at least one full minute. While the eyelid is closed, prevent the solution from draining into your tear ducts by apply gentle pressure to the inside corner of your eye. Always wash your hands before and after use.

Inform your physician of all side effects you experience while using Ocepred Eye Drops (Prednisolone/Ofloxacin). Possible side effects include blurred vision, stinging, burning, or eye pain. These side effects should be temporary and mild. If any persist or are severe, inform your physician as soon as possible.

To avoid contaminating the eye dropper, do not touch it or allow it to come into contact with anything else. Always recap the dropper immediately after use.

When used over an extended period of time, this eye drop increases the risk of the patient developing glaucoma or cataracts. Keep all appointments with your physician, as close monitoring and regular eye checkups are usually required.

These eye drops may cause bad eyesight on a temporary basis. Do not drive or operate any dangerous machinery until these symptoms have passed.
