Nosocef

Nosocef Injection (Ceftriaxone) is a cephalosporin antibiotic prescribed to treat bacterial infections. It works by inhibiting the bacteria from spreading further and reproducing, enabling the body`s immune system to fight back. This medicine is meant for short-term use only as the bacteria will gradually become more resistant to the medication. Please note that this medication will not treat viral infections.

Administration of Nosocef Injection (Ceftriaxone) is via injection and is usually carried out by a health care professional in a hospital or health centre. Always follow the instructions provided by your doctor. Always follow the full course of medication as prescribed even if your condition appears to have disappeared. Stopping early may result in a more sever relapse of the infection as It becomes resistant to the medication.

The skin at the site of injection may swell up, appear red, and feel sore or painful.

• Weakness or tiredness

• Darkened uringe

• Seizures
• Jaundice
• Intestinal pains or cramps
• Infection symptoms

This product must not be mixed with diluents that contain calcium.
