Glucagen Hypokit

Glucagen Hypokit (Glucagon Hydrochloride) is a potentially life-saving treatment used to treat severe hypoglycemic reactions (low blood sugar) for patients who are diabetic and insulin dependent. It was developed for immediate relief during emergency situations to help reduce risks of brain damage or even death from acute hypoglycemia.

The kit contains a pre-filled syringe containing sterile water, and a vial of glucagon powder, as well as full instructions for how to mix the two and administer.

Ensure the Glucagen Hypokit (Glucagon Hydrochloride) you have ready for use has not expired. Replace the kit with a new one if it is unused and has expired.

If you suspect you are suffering from hypoglycemia, do not drive, or participate in any activities which require concentration and may be dangerous. For a period after you have been treated using this medicine, your hand-eye coordination may be impaired, so you should also avoid these activities until you are absolutely certain you have recovered.
