Description
Frontline Plus (Fipronil/S-Methoprene) is a topical solution applied to pets to help prevent fleas and ticks. It will also kill existing adult fleas, ticks, and chewing lice within 48 hours. It helps to get rid of the flea eggs and larvae, and is effective in destroying all stages of the American, brown, deer and lone star ticks. It is suitable for kittens that are 8 weeks and above.
Frontline Plus (Fipronil/S-Methoprene) comes with 6 applications in the form of vials, each protecting your animal for one month. To administer, simply snap the nozzle and empty its contents onto the cats skin between the shoulder blades. If possible apply it all to 1 spot and part the fur as much as possible, so it is applied as much to the skin as possible.
Until the solution is completely dry, do not touch the area it was applied to and make sure anything that come into contact with this spot is wiped and cleaned. If you have more than one animal in the house, they will need to be monitored to ensure the other animal(s) do not lick the area that it has been applied to. Do not wash the cat, or allow it out in rain until 48 hours have passed. Once 48 hours have passed, the solution will have been absorbed into the skin sufficiently for it to be effectively waterproof.
Frontline Plus (Fipronil/S-Methoprene) is generally well tolerated and side effects are extremely rare. If however your animal does appear to be suffering from adverse effects inform your vet asap.

Frontline Plus (Fipronil/S-Methoprene) is and suitable only for cats of at least 8 weeks of age.
If your cat is pregnant of nursing kittens, always check with your vet before using Frontline Plus (Fipronil/S-Methoprene).
If the solution accidently comes into contact with eyes it may cause injury and irritation, immediately flush the eye(s) with fresh running water and call your physician or vet if any irritation continues.
