Flomex-N

Flomex-N Eye Drops (Fluorometholone/Neomycin) is a glucocorticoid and corticosteroid with antibiotic benefits. It is prescribed to reduce the symptoms of certain eye conditions, including conjunctivitis, and can also reduce the severity of allergy symptoms such as inflammation, irritation, and itchiness, in addition to being used after certain types of medical procedures to prevent any infection.

Always use Flomex-N Eye Drops (Fluorometholone/Neomycin) as directed by your physician. Do not self-medicate or adjust your dosage by yourself. The typical recommended dose is for 1 to 2 drops, up to 4 times per day. Always finish your complete course of medication even if you begin to feel better. Be sure to recap the bottle after use and wash your hands thoroughly using soap.

Notify your physician of any side effects you notice. Possible side effects for patients using Flomex-N Eye Drops (Fluorometholone/Neomycin) are listed below:

• Mild stinging
• Irritation
• Burning sensations
• Blurred vision
• Changes to your taste or smell

If you notice any of the following side effects seek immediate medical care. Some of these side effects may be signs that you have suffered from a hypersensitive or allergic reaction.

• Keratitis
• Mydriasis
• Swelling
• Inflammation
• Skin rashes or hives
• Difficulty breathing
• Difficulty swallowing

This eye drop may not be recommended for long term usage as it may lead to corneal or scleral thinning, which could result in perforation. Consult your physician for more information.

If you are sensitive to Fluorometholone or Neomycin, do not use this medication.

Once opened, a bottle of eye drop solution is only good for 30 days of use. Dispose of any solution which has been open for more than 30 days and start a new bottle.

Never share the medication with anyone else, even if the person has the same condition as you.

Store this medication in a cool, dark, and dry place which is out of reach of children.
