Coresatin Nonsteroidal Cream is a steroid free skin repair cream which is prescribed by physicians to treat psoriasis (both pustular and non-pustular). It may also be used to treat lichen planus, and certain varieties may be suitable for treating fungal skin infections, diabetic foot ulcers and dermatitis (including contact dermatitis, seborrheoic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis). In some cases, it may be used to treat children.
This cream is made using a combination of natural oils, which helps to strengthen the skin`s antisepsis and keep it safe from allergens and irritants, while at the same time helping to promote healing and prevent water from being evaporated. Treatment with this product can help to relieve scaling, redness and itching in those suffering from inflammatory disorders of the skin. When applied, this cortisone free cream helps to restore the proper function of the stratum corneum, the layer of the epidermis that is important for the defense functions of the skin. This helps to keep irritants, microorganisms and other harmful substances out of the skin.
Coresatin Nonsteroidal Cream) is a topical skin cream, and as such, it must be applied as directed by the prescribing physician to the part of the skin that needs to be treated. Follow the directions provided by your physician. Generally speaking, adults treating psoriasis or other inflammatory skin conditions are instructed to apply it to the skin 3 to 6 times per day. Do not apply more of the cream than your physician tells you to. It is also important to note that the pediatric version of this cream should only be used to treat a child if a physician prescribes it for this purpose.
Application of Coresatin Nonsteroidal Cream to the skin is generally considered to be safe. If irritation at the application site or a worsening of the condition occurs, treatment should be stopped and a physician should be consulted.
This topical cream is only to be used externally on the skin.
If this product comes into contact with the eyes, the eyes should be rinsed straight away with water and medical help will also be required.
