Acnederm Lotion (Azelaic Acid) is a topical lotion, applied to the skin as a treatment for acne. The active ingredient in this lotion is a natural acid which belongs to a group of medications known as dicarboxylic acids. It works by speeding up the skin`s renewal process, thereby decreasing the formation of blackheads and pimples. It also fights and eliminates the bacteria which can cause acne.

Acnederm Lotion (Azelaic Acid) should be applied directly to the affected area of the skin as directed by your doctor. Patients are normally told to apply it twice per day, once in the morning, and again in the evening. It is essential to note that it can take up to 4 weeks for the full benefits of treatment with this lotion to be noticed. Continue using it for the entire period for which it was prescribed.

Acnederm Lotion (Azelaic Acid) can sometimes cause side effects, such as:

• Dryness of the skin
• Itching
• Redness at the application site
• Stinging sensation
• Burning sensation
