Rosulip

Rosulip (Rosuvastatin) lowers blood pressure and cholesterol, helping to cut the risk of heart related conditions. It is normally given to patients with high blood pressure or high cholesterol. It is able to lower blood pressure and cholesterol by decreasing low-density lipoprotein and triglycerides while also raising the body`s levels of HDL (good cholesterol).

Strictly follow all directions provided by your physician. Never change your dosage unless advised to do so.

Under normal circumstances Rosulip (Rosuvastatin) is taken once a day, at the same time of day each day. The tablets can be taken with or without food, but should be swallowed whole and never chewed, crushed, split, or dissolved in water.

While taking this medicine your progress should be closely monitored by your physician. Always attend all appointments.

The most commonly experienced side effects of Rosulip (Rosuvastatin) include headaches, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, painful urination, short-term memory loss, fatigue, and dizziness. If any of these become bothersome, worrying, or simply persist or worsen, consult your physician promptly.

Serious side effects requiring immediate medical attention include muscle pains, chest pains, jaundice, flu symptoms, and a change in your urination color or quantity.

Asian patients may require a lower dose relative to patients of other races. This is because Asian patients have been shown to absorb the drug at a faster rate, making doses more potent.

Patients may need to use additional forms of contraception whilst taking this medication. Consult your physician for further advice.

Before you begin taking Rosulip (Rosuvastatin) ensure that your physician is aware of any other existing conditions or notable family medical history you have, any other medication you are taking (including all off the shelf-products such as vitamins), if you are pregnant, if you are breastfeeding, or if you have any allergies.
