Pimafucort

Pimafucort (Hydrocortisone/Neomycin Sulfate) is a corticosteroid cream used to treat the symptoms of a wide range of skin conditions. It helps the patient alleviate symptoms such as itchy skin, sore skin, swelling, and red skin. Other effects of Pimafucort include the suppression of inflammation and fungal infections of skin.

Pimafucort (Hydrocortisone/Neomycin Sulfate) should only be used as instructed and prescribed by your physician or pharmacist. Do not alter your dosage unless specifically instructed to do so by either of the above. Dosage and usage often depends on the severity of the condition, as well as the patients medical history and current health condition.

Patients should clean and dry the affected area before applying a thin layer of Pimafucort (Hydrocortisone/Neomycin Sulfate) directly to the affected area, and rubbing it gently into the skin. Your physician may instruct you to use this medication up to 4 times a day, depending on the severity of the condition being treated. As prolonged usage of this cream is not recommended, patients are advised not to use it for any longer than prescribed.

Some side effects which have occurred as a result of using Pimafucort (Hydrocortisone/Neomycin Sulfate) include:

• Skin Irritation
• Acne
• Skin rash(es)
• Hives
• Swelling
• Edema (water retention)
• Stretch mark formation
• Loss of pigmentation
• Skin Atrophy

If any of side effects persist or worsen, or you notice bleeding at the where you have applied the cream, consult your physician immediately.

If you have an allergic or hypersensitive reaction, seek emergency medical attention. Possible symptoms include difficulty breathing, difficulty swallowing, swelling, chest tightness, skin rashes, and hives.

Before you begin using this medication, ensure your physician is aware of the following:

• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
