Frusemide Sandoz (Frusemide) should not be used in patients who are breastfeeding or have chronic dehydration, allergies to sulphonamides, low blood volume, low potassium levels, low sodium levels, liver disease affecting the brain, or severe kidney failure causing anuria or hepatic coma.

Inform your physician of any other conditions the patient has that may cause complications with treatment such if he or she is elderly, a premature baby, or has diabetes, gout, difficulty urinating, hepatorenal syndrome, hypotension, low protein levels, or decreased liver or kidney function. These may require reduced dosages or frequency of administration to prevent these problems from occurring.
