Beclazone

Beclazone (Beclometasone Dipropionate) is an inhaled corticosteroid that works directly in the lungs by decreasing inflammation of the small airways. This helps to prevent asthma attacks. The active ingredient contained in this inhaler is classified as a corticosteroid, and it exhibits a high degree of anti-inflammatory action. Upon absorption by the cells in the lungs, it starts to act by inhibiting the release of chemicals known to cause an inflammatory response. This prevents inflammation in the lungs and tightening of the airways, thereby contributing to easier breathing for the patient while at the same time helping to lower the risk or occurrence of asthma attacks.

Beclazone (Beclometasone Dipropionate) inhaler needs to be shaken vigorously before use. When using it for the very first time, you will need to spray 2 puffs up into the air to ensure that it is working properly. To administer it, hold the device in an upright position, breath out gently and place the mouthpiece in the mouth. While you breathe in slowly and gently, press down on the top of the aerosol to release a spray of medicine. Continue inhaling, and hold your breath for 10 seconds (or as long as you comfortably can), and exhale. If another inhalation is needed, wait for at least 1 minute before administering the second dose. The exact daily dosage will differ based on individual circumstances, and patients will need to comply with the instructions given by their physician.

If any side effects are noticed during the course of treatment with Beclazone (Beclometasone Dipropionate) inhaler, it is essential that you report this to your physician. Possible examples may include:

• Thrush
• Sore throat
• Hoarse voice
• Sleeping difficulties
• Discomfort in the mouth

Some reactions may be severe, and will require immediate medical attention, such as:

• Cushing`s syndrome
• Paradoxical bronchospasms
• Faint feeling or severe dizziness

Other severe adverse events not referenced here are also possible, and these will also require immediate medical attention.

Beclazone (Beclometasone Dipropionate) is only for administration via inhalation and should not be used in any other way. When the inhaler is empty, ensure that you properly dispose of it.

This medicine will not provide immediate relief from the symptoms of an asthma attack, and another rapid working inhaler may be given to you for this purpose.
