Aromasin

Aromasin (Exemestane) is a medication prescribed to treat breast cancer in post-menopausal women. It operates by reducing estrogen levels to stop or slow the growth of tumours that are thought to use this hormone to grow. This treatment is commonly used to treat patients who have not responded well to other conditions. Your doctor may also prescribe this medication to treat other unlisted conditions.

Also discuss conditions that may cause complications with your doctor such as osteoporosis or decreased liver or kidney function. These can require reduced doses or other changes to your treatment to prevent these problems from appearing.
