Arcolane

Arcolane is a scalp solution (shampoo) containing ketoconazole - an anti-fungal agent. It is used to treat dandruff. Arcolane can help prevent the itching, scaling and flaking associated with dandruff.

The hair and scalp should be wet before application. Squeeze a small amount of Arcolane into the palm of your hand and massage into a lather covering the hair and scalp. Rinse hair with warm water and re-apply a second time if advised by your doctor. After the shampoo has been rinsed, dry your hair and scalp thoroughly. Your doctor will advise ho many times a week you should apply the shampoo.

The skin of the scalp may become irritated when using Arcolane. It may also develop a rash or pimple-like bumps, dryness or oiliness. If you notice any signs of an allergic reaction to Ketoconazole shampoo, contact your doctor as soon as possible.

Arcolane should not be used as a normal shampoo. It should be used only by the person it was prescribed for. Always keep out of reach of children.

Do not use Arcolane (Ketoconazole) if you have any allergies to anti-fungal medicines.
