Vivitonin (Propentofylline) is an oral medication given to elderly dogs to prevent hearing, sight, mental, or physical problems. The medication increases oxygenation, neurological, and cardiovascular function to reduce the severity of aging symptoms such as fatigue, senility, trouble walking, weight loss, or hair loss. It may also increase the appetite and energy levels of the dog being treated while restoring the health of its coat. The use of this medication has also been shown to reduce the speed of cataract formation in some dogs.
The correct dosage of Vivitonin (Propentofylline) will be determined by your veterinarian based on your dog`s weight, existing conditions, and response to other treatments.
