Prazopress

Prazopress (Prazosin) is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure. It works by relaxing the blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily through the body. This medicine is also used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia, congestive heart failure, pheochromocytoma, and Raynaud`s disease.

Take Prazopress exactly as directed by your physician. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully.

Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your physician. Your physician will probably start you on a low dose and gradually increase your dose. Do not stop taking prazosin without talking to your physician. Ask your physician or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand.

Possible side effects of Prazopress (Prazosin) include:

• drowsiness
• headache
• weakness
• palpitations
• fainting
• dizziness
• stomach pain
• nausea
• chest pain
• shortness of breath
