Paramax (Paracetamol) is used primarily as a painkiller. It works by decreasing the production of chemicals such as Prostaglandins in the brain and the spinal cord. This makes nerves less sensitive and pain more severe.
It is used most effectively for fighting pain caused by headaches and is highly recommended for managing migraines. It may also be used to alleviate muscle and joint pain, tooth ache, menstruation pains, fever-related pains, and even post-operative pain.
Always follow any specific instructions you have been given by your physician when taking Paramax (Paracetamol). Otherwise, strictly adhere to all instructions found on the packaging of the product.
You should normally dose on the first sign of pain. If the pain persists, continue to dose no more than once every 4 hours.
