Isaderm is a gel containing Fusidic Acid and Betamethasone. It is indicated in the treatment of surface pyoderma in the dog such as acute moist dermatitis (i.e. hot spots) and intertrigo (skin fold dermatitis).
Isaderm is supplied as a 15g tube of gel. Each gram of gel contains 5mg of fusiric acid and 1mg of betamethasone.
Isaderm Gel should be applied topically. It is not to be taken internally.
Apply a sufficient amount of the gel to the affected areas and massage in twice daily for 5 to 7 days.
If no improvement is seen within the first three days, or if the condition worsens, contact your vet to discuss an alternative treatment.
Side effects of Isaderm will worsen if used for a prolonged period or on large surface areas.

Isaderm Gel is intended for short term use on small areas only. Seek alternative treatment for larger surface areas or for prolonged treatment.
Betamethasone can be absorbed through the skin in humans, and can sometimes cause suppression of adrenal function. If possible wear gloves when applying Isaderm gel and wash you hands thoroughly afterwards.
Isaderm Gel should not be used on pregnant dogs or in dogs with a fungal infection.
