Finalo (Finasteride) is a hair loss drug for men, which can treat male pattern baldness. When taken, it blocks the activity of an enzyme known as 5-alpha reductase, which stops testosterone from being converted into DHT (dihydrotestosterone, a hormone that can cause damage to the follicles, resulting in the loss of hair).
