Dicaris

Dicaris (Levamisole) is classified as an antineoplastic medicine and it is used for treating colon cancer. It works by targeting the cancer cells and affecting their ability to spread and proliferate. Originally, it was given as a treatment for parasitic worm infections, due to its benefits as an antihelminthic agent. It is known to act on the immune system, and stimulate various cells that are important for the immune response, including T cells, lymphocytes and neutrophils. Recently, researchers have studied other potential uses for it.

Dicaris (Levamisole) comes as uncoated tablets. It is available as 2 different strengths, 50mg and 150mg. Patients treating colon cancer or any other conditions will require close and constant medical supervision and monitoring of their progress and symptoms. Full compliance with all instructions provided by the physician in charge of treatment is required at all times to ensure that the maximum benefits of treatment are achieved. Never exceed the recommended dosage and ensure that you attend all scheduled medical appointments.
