Ciza

Ciza (Cisapride) increases the rate at which your esophagus, stomach, and intestines move during digestion. It also increases the rate at which your stomach empties into your intestines and increases the strength of your lower esophageal sphincter (the muscle between your stomach and your esophagus). Cisapride is used to treat gastric reflux (the regurgitation of stomach acid into the esophagus), which is usually experienced as heartburn.

Ciza (Cisapride) comes in the form of tablets for oral administration. You must consult your physician so that the proper dosage can be determined. Never exceed the dosage that your physician recommends for you.

Ciza (Cisapride) may cause some patients to experience side effect which are mild. Notify your physician of any bothersome reactions. Although it is less common, serious reactions are possible. You will need to immediately see your physician if any severe symptoms are noticed.

If you have an allergic or hypersensitive reaction, seek emergency medical attention. Possible symptoms include difficulty breathing, difficulty swallowing, swelling, chest tightness, skin rashes, and hives.

Ciza (Cisapride) should only be used as instructed and prescribed by your physician or pharmacist. Do not alter your dosage unless specifically instructed to do so by either of the above. Dosage and usage often depends on the severity of the condition, as well as the patient`s medical history and current health condition.
