Bontress Lotion (Capixyl) is a hair loss treatment made using red clover extract. Its mechanism of action is modulating DHT and reducing hair follicle damage. This lotion has been used by adult men suffering with male pattern hair loss (MPHL), and it has also been used by patients affected by seasonal hair loss. Menopausal women have even used it for its therapeutic effects on the hair.

The primary active ingredient contained in this topical treatment consists of a biomimetic peptide (acetyl tetrapeptide-3) which is combined with red clover extract (Trifolium pratense).
