Bondria (Ibandronic Acid) is used primarily by female patients suffering from breast cancer to help reduce associated bone deterioration. It works by preventing the cancer from affecting bones and preventing the spread to bones. It may be used for other uses as prescribed by your physician.
Correct dosage can range widely between patients, so you should only ever use Bondria (Ibandronic Acid) as prescribed and directed by your physician. Normally this medication should only be taken on an empty stomach, at least 8 hours after your last meal, so morning dosing is idea.
Swallow the tablet whole alongside a full glass of water. Do not chew, crush, or dissolve it. Avoid eating and remain in an upright position (sitting or standing) for at least 30 minutes after dosing.
