When you work at a computer for a long time, you will undoubtedly notice how your eyesight deteriorates, there is discomfort and it becomes increasingly difficult to focus on something. It all has a name. This problem is called “computer vision syndrome”. And the problem is not that we spend a lot of time at work, but that we forget about natural methods of recovery. Take short breaks from work, and do not forget about eye exercises.
The eyes, like all the muscles in your body, need training, and ignoring this can lead to vision loss.
Stress is thought to be the leading cause of eye pain when working on a computer. All images on the monitor screen consist of pixels, not lines. In this case, in order to focus, the eyes must strain several times more than in comparison to read the same information in a printed source, such as a book, newspaper or magazine.
There are several techniques that can help normalize vision and eye muscle condition.
Blink often. This is done so that when blinking small dust particles disappear from the eye. In addition, the eye is naturally moisturized by blinking.
Glasses for working with electronic devices can also be a great helper. Their function is not quite the same as that of ordinary glasses, which improve image vision; they work as a different system, preventing eye fatigue, neutralizing the effects of monitor glare, and improving image contrast.
If you have an uncomfortable chair and table at work, then you should replace them. You should choose a computer desk and chair that will be most comfortable for you.
You also need to properly install your innovative device. When sunlight shines on the screen, the contrast between the screen and what is behind it increases sharply, causing visual discomfort.
It is also recommended to visit an ophthalmologist regularly. In most cases, it is easier to prevent the disease than to treat it later. To do this, take drugs such as Bilberry with Lutein or Bilberry-MIC. These capsules contain dried bilberry extract. Bilberry extract provides your eyes with antioxidant and vascular support to promote good vision and eye health. Bilberry is well known for its ability to support visual clarity and retinal function.
Keep in mind that your eyes need rest by looking away from the monitor for at least twenty seconds every 20 minutes.
You can also do eye exercises:
- Hold your gaze on your nose for about five seconds.
- Look left and right several times, but the head should be still, you should only move your eyes.
- Make circular movements with your eyes, several times counterclockwise and then clockwise.
- You should make at least 10 quick blinks as soon as possible.
Take care of yourself and especially your health!
